In the road sprint classes how many miles do they normally do and at what speed?
I dont know the name of the race. Its the race when they use triathlon bars and have the covered rear wheels?
You are thinking of time trials. They use triathlon handle bars to reduce wind resistance. Time trials are usually short and on fairly level terrain. It’s a pretty much all out race for the whole time. They average about 30 mph and run less then 30 min.

Second video from the handle bars of Australian Triathlete Courtney Atkinson in the 1st round of the ITU World Championship in Sydney April 2011. The rain and oily road surface made for one of the most dangerous triathlons we have seen on the circuit.

Right Now I Have This Really Messed Up Road Bike, And Every time I Go Out For My Daily Ride Guys Fly Right Past Me. Im Thinking Of Buying A Tri Bike, Can I Still Do Cycling Races On My Tri Bike, While Others Are Using Road Bikes (Not Including Time Trials).
By The Way, Im 16.
Thank You
tri bikes are built for one thing… short distances (relatively) and high speeds. they are not made for climbing hills, or comfort on regular road rides. so even if you bought a $10,000 tri bike, chances are most people on regular road bikes would still fly by you going up a hill or after so many miles when you start getting really sore. they are also really ridged (which is good for speed and bad for comfort). also be prepared to be made fun of if you are 16 and riding a tri bike as a normal road bike. you will be looked at as a young person who knows nothing about what specific bikes are for. its like someone buying a downhill bike because they look cool then complaining about how hard it is to go up a hill on it.
i agree with the others… get your road bike fixed or buy a new ROAD bike, then get in shape and woop all the other riders that way.
